Cailyn debated for three years in Public Forum at Bergen County Academies in New Jersey, as well as competing internationally in World Schools with the USA National Debate Team in her senior year. In PF, Cailyn was the champion of the 2023 Harvard Tournament as a sophomore, and reached semifinals at the Yale, Princeton, and University of Pennsylvania tournaments as a junior to earn a peak ranking of #2 nationally. She earned 12 career bids, with 5 gold bids in her junior year, qualifying to the TOC every year she competed. In World Schools, Cailyn championed Stanford and represented the USA at the 2025 World Schools Debating Championship, where she was top speaker and broke as the #1 ranked team. As someone who was both a first and second speaker, Cailyn specializes in teaching efficiency, technical weighing, and narrative debate. She looks forward to working with debaters at NDC!
