Derek Song

Derek reached Octofinals at the Gold Tournament of Champions and had a 6-1 prelim record. Moreover, he won ASU, reached semi-finals at La Costa Canyon (twice), quarters at both Blake and Berkeley, and was invited to the King, Cal, and Harvard Round Robins. At it's peak, his rank was #6 in the nation. Derek specializes in both lay and technical substance debate and he loves helping teams find new creative case strategies. He's super excited to work with debaters across the country through NDC!
